Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.

Screen is black

The strip that connects the screen to the motherboard, probably fall out of the socket. That's why you don't see anything on the screen. It's just my opinion though.

Laptop wont boot up, black screen, has power

You didn't post the Make, Model of Laptop or the OS you are using. I'll use a Win 7 solution. Boot the Laptop, open the Control Panel, select Power Options, set to High Performance, select Change Plan Settings, set SLEEP to Never, select Change Advanced Power settings, go through the settings , set SLEEP and Hibernate to Never, Power buttons and Lid to shut down. Always shut down and unplug your laptop when not in use to prevent damage from power surges and possible Fire hazard IF the battery malfunctions. A reboot every day will reset the computer.

ran for 2 days on AC pack only?
battery out, be clear there... it must run on ac alone .
the BIOS is next
is the screen with text?" or really is 100% black all the time.
remove the hdd if it makes abnormal noise, and check that BIOS screens work , even take out the DVD drive.
battery is already out. they short. get it out .
then push the bios keys, ESC?
this PC laptop has CCFL lamps that go dead.
so do the flash light trick first. while calling up BIOS.

My hp 9020 stopped working suddenly. Although the battery was charged, the notebook just broke down and will not turn on. The battery led turns orange when I press the power key. I took the battery out,...

dont they all , eventually. all do a fact. but why ? so leave that old battery out, run on AC for ever if you wish and for SURE TESTING. they love to fail and overload the PC. so with AC good power pack no main battery does the power turn on? y/n does the fan run (above is yes) does the cd tray eject does the bios message show on the screen, it must "hit f10 to setup?" means BIOS page. does it, or is the screen back totally no text EVER. even hitting the F10 key or the key it told you to hit for 10 years. that is called fan running and not packed up. the black screen of *****. we have no idea what YOU can do, your skills your tools, ? how can any person know that. if not black screens of deathh then say so and say what you saw fully this time. http://pcdied.com/black-screen.html its a nx9020 (2004, 13 long hard years old.!!!) not 9020, the nx matters . big time top black screens fan ok are? COIN cell dead. CMOS RTC battery coin main battery shorted, nah its parked on shelf. CCFL lamps it PC are dead. as all are this old do the flash light trick yet, fan blowing.

You might as well replace the camera, they do not fix these. If you send it in to Fuji you get an exchange camera from Fuji, the cost is fairly high

Dell Computer Monitor - Black Screen

If it worked on a computer at the IT person, it is most likely a faulty graphics card in your computer. You may want to get that checked out.

make sure the battery is fully charged, then disconnect from your computer. Wait a while for the device to cool and try turning it on again. Mine took a few tries but once it sat for a while it didnt fight me again.

The Screen Stays black and the ring turns blue and thats it

Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select "format" when prompted.

http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe

You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool.

- Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds)
- Slide the hold switch into "hold" position.
- Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer.

Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted.

Best of Luck.
