Question about Epson Stylus Photo R320 InkJet Printer
I purchased my Epson Stylus R320 from Best Buy three years ago with a three-year service warranty. I took it back to Best Buy because it would not accept my Compact Flash card. A month later, Best Buy calls me and tells me the print head is no good and that they will replace my R320 with a comparable model. The problem is that I purchased this on sale for $179.00 Best Buy says mine is worth $35.00. If I were to buy a new one, it would cost me over $300.00 and I cannot find a comparable model at Best Buy. I’m wondering if it would be worth it to replace the print head or ask them to show me the problem personally. I cant help but think that some Geek Squad guy’s girlfriend has my printer and I’m getting the shaft. What do you think I should do?
My solution regarding Best Buy and Geek Squad is not to return. Some girlfriend got my hard drive because my "old" computer crashed. And the backup data I paid for is still floating around in her apartment and never reached my computer. I will not return to Best Buy except in an emergency to take care of another computer I purchased from there before I realized that was a mistake. I have an Epson that is 4 yrs old and am having problems choosing paper size and putting dates on pixs. I hope someone can help me with this. Talk to a manager (there is always one on site I was told) and make your complaint known in no uncertain terms. Be firm and stand your ground.

Why are they saying the head is dead when it went in for a faulty card reader? Get the machine back and follow my head cleaning instructions on previous posts. If it work, then you saved a bundle on a replacement machine. If it doesn't work, yoo lost nothing but a little time.
