Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

I need a replacement for the camera lens for an iPhone. This is NOT the camera. It's the plastic lens which is taped to the inside of the back cover of the iPhone. Do you sell this small part?

If I'm understanding the only comment I received correctly, it sounds to me as though I'm being told that one can not purchase just the camera lens (sometimes called the "camera lens cover") for the iPhone camera. Throught much searching, I have found this is not true. The part can be purchased from the following URL:

I purchased one of these and found it to be the exact replacement which I needed. It does not come with the small silver bezel around it, but that can be acquired by simply removing it from the previous lens.

I hope this information helps others who are in need of this.

DVR TRV-27 is showing error C:32:11

The problem is a rubber tape tension roller. Simply eject the tape, look inside where the tape goes. You will see a black rubber cylinder that may have a white plastic tube protruding. If you have long tweezer or a hemostat remove the plastic tube which hold the rubber tensioner in place, then remove the rubber tension cylinder. Clean the shaft of the black rubber tensioner with alcohol on a q-tip. Replace rubber tension cylinder and plastic tube.

Also, the tapes can cause the problem. This process is possible by one person, but you may need another person or have three hands. The C:31:23 is tape tension error. The tape has become stuck. Simply eject the tape. Holding the tape upside down, pull back on the tape cover release slide on the left side of the tape, now take the hemostat and push the tape release tab, located opposite of the tape cover, push this tab down and back toward the back edge of the tape. Now while holding both those release levers, take a pencil and wind the tape past the bad spot or until the tape winds freely.
I did both of these and was able to use the camera again and view all my tapes!
Good luck and QUIT SPANKING YOUR CAMERAS!!!!

Lens stuck/lens error

Hello

there are tiny plastic gears inside and may have chipped or a small piece of sand got in causing the lens to jamb. "very fragile"

one solution is to ask a camera repair shop how much a lens mechanism would be to replace. (if cost is more than 1/2 of what you paid dont bother)

another solution is to have someone sell your camera on an auction site for parts, to make some money towards another camera purchase

Used FE-170 hardly powering on.

The lens need to be replaced or repaired. It is not fully extending. It may be that one or more of the plastic gears or plastic rods that hold the gears in place, are broken. I repaired two plastic rods in my lens, by drilling holes for new plastic rods,(I cut plastic rods from a plastic toilet bowl chain!!! It fit inside the gears perfectly), and super glue the rods in place. Replaced gears, put camera back together and BAM in worked! Nothing like a perfectly working refurbished rig job. Camera takes great pictures to this day.

K100D Problem

Remove lens, locate silver vertical pin inside of mounting ring on left side as you are looking at camera. Lightly slide black plastic piece which is on the vertical pin downward; if it will go downward remount lens and try camera. If plastic piece will not go down, lightly slide it up and then down and now remount lens and try camera. My guess is that either that component is sometimes stuck or that it may have become mispositioned while removing and replacing a lens.

There are no Spares for these I feel Canon Technical Support may have a solution or a little bit of imagination and a suitable bottle/jar top may serve- with a little piece of fine cord to loop around the camera body

I'm just shooting in the dark, but have you tried taking the batteries out then putting them back in again. Also, you might want to look through the Sony website for an e-mail address that you could wite a question and/or ask for help/advice.

Not turning on

Hello Ariel, You need a new battery lid. The problem is the lid has a pin that when closed properly, allows the battery to power up the camera. You can get one for $30.00 on Ebay item number 7623965577 if you act fast. This is a good camera and would be worth $30.00 (plus 5.50 shipping) to fix it. Please let me know how it works. Best regards, nightdiver
