36A50 flicking on/off (by 3 users)

We noticed the TV is flickering on/off as per the front power LED. Sometimes the LED will flash @ 1Hz while not displaying any image. Banging on the right side of the TV will momentarily bring back picture. Operation very intermittent (may work fine for 5 secs or 5 minutes). Any suggestions?

Led at on switch blinks in a sequence, but no picture or audio on tv.
