You need to contact your Internet Service Provider immediately and report this. They will be able to help you, but be prepared to jump through burning hoops to satisfy them that you ARE you.

DO NOT want to pay for this. I just want to access my mail on the yahoo account the old and simple way I used to.

Contact Yahoo to find out why you are not able to use your account, perhaps you are banned for abuse (compromised be a hacker).
Remember, Yahoo accounts are free, you get what you pay for.

Phishing "Protect urself" Know What Hackers Do !This is a featured page

Phishing continues to be one of the most significant security threats facing Internet users. During 2007, scammers distributed millions of phishing scam emails that targeted many different entities. Phishing attacks are sure to continue in 2008 and scammers will use such attacks to steal money and identities from many new victims around the world. Armed with a little knowledge about how phishing scams work, however, you can ensure that you do not become one of these victims. phishing-scammer.jpg
Phishing scammers continue to find new victims all around the world

A phishing scam is one in which victims are tricked into providing personal information such as account numbers, passwords and credit card details to what they believe to be a legitimate company or organization. In order to carry out this trick, the scammers often create a "look-a-like" webpage that is designed to resemble the target company's official website. Typically, emails are used as "bait" in order to get the potential victim to visit the bogus website. The emails use various devious ruses to trick readers into clicking on the included links, thereby opening the bogus website. Information submitted on these bogus websites is harvested by the scammers and may then be used to steal funds from the user's accounts and/or steal the victim's identity.

Phishing scam emails are created to give the illusion that they have been sent by a legitimate institution. Emails may arrive in HTML format and include logos, styling, contact and copyright information virtually identical to those used by the targeted institution. To further create the illusion of legitimacy, some of the secondary links in these bogus emails may lead to the institution's genuine website. However, one or more of the hyperlinks featured in the body of the email will point to the fraudulent website.

Links in phishing scam messages are often disguised to make it appear that they lead to the genuine institution site. The sender address of the email may also be disguised in such a way that it appears to have originated from the targeted company. Because they are sent in bulk to many recipients, scam emails use generic greetings such as "Dear account holder" or "Dear [targeted institution] customer". If an institution needed to contact a customer about some aspect of his or her account, the contact email would address the customer by name.

I keep getting a virus alert and when I ask to remove viruses it brings me to a page to buy virus protection. I already have virus protection on Windows. What can I do to resolve this annoying problem...

You are infected with a Trojan or Malware. The pop-ups are bogus.. You are only infected with the product they are trying to sell you. What is the name of the Virus Protection they are trying to sell you? First thing to do is restart your computer in Safe Mode and run all your security scans. See it they find the culprit. If not post back,

My hotmail wont let me send any messages this is what it says when im trying to this account is currently blocked from sending messages, what can i do to solve this?

The message is coming from hotmail and not your computer.
for some reason hotmail has blocked your email account. This happens sometimes when your email account gets compromised usually due to a virus or worm. you have to contact hotmail support. If its due to a virus or worm they're going to tell you to remove it first and they may not reactivate the account again. But first try changing your password if that doesn't work use the Windows Live Validation Page to reset your password https://windowslivehelp.com/PasswordReset.aspx

Good luck

My Facebook account has bee suspended since Saturday because of being phished.

Your account has been temporarily suspended for security purposes. Our systems indicate that your Face book account has been compromised by cybercriminals attempting to impersonate you. These criminals often will try to trick your friends into sending them money by claiming that you are stuck in a far away location and need assistance. It is possible that your email account was compromised as well. As such, we have sent this email to all email accounts recently associated with your account. Obtaining access to a victim's email is one of the primary ways these cybercriminals have been operating. Please take the following steps to regain control of your account:

1. Select new, unique passwords for any email addresses associated with your Facebook account.

2. Respond to this email to get the account verification process started.

3. Closely follow the instructions provided in our follow up email. We also encourage you to visit the following page for more information about Face book security and how to report suspicious material: http://www.facebook.com/security

Please rate me if this solution works for you

Thanks......Have a great time

I am unable to receive emails sent to my hotmail account. my contacts have tried sending me numerous emails that are work related, but i am not receiving them help please

if you are trying to download them to the computer, you will have to pay for that privilege. acces the account online, if this is what you already do then for some reason the emails are being redirected and there are possible hackers at work. If this is the case create a new account and report this to microsoft

hope this helps

My msn is not letting me on says my password doesnt exist but yit no one knows my password,And when a try to change it the secret question that i am supposed to have is the wrong one

If your secret question is not the one it should be, then you are either trying to get into the wrong account, or someone has guessed the answer to your secret question and changed it, so they now have access to your email account.

You cannot access now, period.
However, *S* This happened to a friend of mine once, and he opened a new email account and sent an email to his OLD account very politely asking for the password so he could get his email back.
Sure enough, he must have been a nice hacker, because he sent him the new password.
He then accessed his account again, and changed the password and the hint question ( to a better one)

The net can be a very surprising place. *s*
Good luck.

A colleague of mine had his hotmail account hacked and the password changed and the hackers sent out an email to his contacts requesting $ to get him out of a jam!...needless to say, he can't get into his...

All I can think to do (Besides calling Microsoft who currently owns hotmail), is to tell hotmail that you password. If he has another e-mail address he may have put this information in when signing up for his hotmail account. If he tells hotmail he forgot his password, they should send it or a new password to his other e-mail account. If he did not provide them with another account I reccomend calling microsoft.
