I just bought a new GE telephone, Model #21900. I can't dial my mother-in-laws #. It will call other #'s but not that one. Could you tell me what's happening.

Hi - are they both in the same area code? When they call you, do they show up on the caller i.d. the exact way that you would dial their number? Thanks?
