What shuts off power to fuel pump when key is turned off on a 94 GMCwith 350 engine

Power is fed to the pump by a fuel pump relay. The relay is powered by a fuse but is triggered by the computer. So when you turn the key on, the computer triggers the relay, the relay closes and turns on the fuel pump. Power is cut off only when the key is shut off and the computer kills the trigger signal to the relay

My fans are not working

Check the fan directly on the battery to confirm the fan motor.
Next check on the fan motor relay in the relay box, check power to the relay and output. trace the wiring.
Finally a fault in the heat sensor - thermistor - that must trigger the fan relay circuit. Need to trace the sensor from the engine body - water jacket to the relay circuit.-- also suspect the sensor relay drive circuit.

I lost ground to fuel pump and no spark and no communication to scanner i change the fuel pump relay box that has other relays in it i have power it blue the fuse for the fuel inj. replace it now i have...

Check your PCM relay, as I remember when some of the relays tripped they were not all Positive charges. There were some Ground terminals on the relays that were triggers for the other relays. You may have installed a new relay in 1 position, but the trigger to work the new relay may be in a remaining burned out relay.

The fact that you have nothing for the scanner means you have a serious outage.

Some of the relays are identical and if you switch positions in the Relay box, you could reacquire the Ground for the fuelpump. You would still be short 1 good relay, but you could determine which one grounds the fuelpump. You could also reaquire the scanner connection.

Sunroof will not work

Power is supplied to the Power windows and sunroof through the power window circuit breaker. That circuit breaker is supplied power through the RAP (retained accessory power) Relay, the RAP relay also supplies power to the radio. The RAP relay is also fuse protected by the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block. The RAP relay is energized by the BCM body control module.

The RAP relay is responsible for the radio and windows working after the igntion is turned off.

The first place to check would be the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block and then the RAP relay in the Body fuse block.

A list of the BODY relay block located on the left side of the dash to the right of the interior fuse block is below:

(1) Park Lamp Relay (2) Courtesy Lamp Relay (3) Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Relay (4) Power Seats Circuit Breaker (5) Power Windows Circuit Breaker (6) Inadvertent Power Relay (7) Door Lock Relay (8) Headlamp Ground Relay (9) Driver Door Unlock Relay (10) Door Unlock Relay(1) Park Lamp Relay

How do i wire angel eye spots up can i do it without a rely ford ranger mk 2 o5 model

I recommend using a relay, It is the best way to take the load off of a switch, and keeping the circuit more reliable. otherwise you need a heavy duty switch.
Relays are actually very simple once you understand how they work
A relay is simply a electricly triggered switch, and has two seprate halfs,
  • One half is the trigger. (a power and ground trigger it) On the relay you should see a diagram drawing with the pin outs. the trigger portion is noted as the curly line.
  • the other half is the switch part of the relay (sending power to your lights)
The switch part of the relay gets a power wire on one side and the spot lights on the other side.
Run a good power wire that is big enough to handle the load from the under hood fuse box battery lug, to the relay. Dont forget to put an inline fuse on that power wire. (fire prevention in case of a short)
Then you run a ground wire to one side of the trigger and a power wire from a switch to the other side of the trigger. polarity does not matter.
dont worry if the relay has 5 terminals you are going to only use 4.The extra one is for normally closed position of the switch.
I hope this helps

98 Chevy K1500 - Wire off road lights to work with brights.

put a relay under the hood someware, splice into the high beam hot wire near one of the bulbs to trigger the relay.
run a seperate power wire (mabee from the battery or if your truck has a power block with a battery lug) to the relay to power the lights when they are on. Dont forget to put an inline fuse on that power wire. (fire prevention in case of a short) Also make sure that power wire is heavy enough to handle the load. A relay is simply a electricly triggered switch. it has two parts, one half is the trigger. (a power and ground trigger it) the other half is the switch. (sending power to your lights) to make it work, all you have to do is look at the diagram on the relay to determin which is which. Then you run a ground wire to one side of the trigger and the wire from the high beam to the other side of the trigger. the switch is seperate, it gets the power wire on one side and the fog lights on the otherside. dont worry if the relay has 5 terminals you are going to only use 4.The extra one is for normally closed position of the switch.

Failure of power door locks

it is likely that it is a relay.... one for remote or the power doors. you may want to check the fuse/relay panel located in the engine compartment near the battery.
