Did you download the application or the driver or both. Which Orbicam do you have Bison, Logitech or Suyin? Have you uninstalled the webcam, rebooted and then direct windows where to look for the driver and application?

find the program for the cam in start- program there to adjust,after done if you open program like skype,you still need to switch on webcam in after you call.
Install properly the provided web cam software to run web cam properly. This are some problems due to unstable or not completely install on it. Use that Utility Recovery Disk. Good luck!
sometimes when you save photoes in your picture folder the webcam stops working just simply move all pictures out of the picture folder unless they have to do with the webcam software worked for me
Your questions are less about an issue and more about just how to use the machine. persavere and keep trying different things. Eventually good things will happen. Its how we all had to learn. As for accessing the camera go to start and search the word cam. vistas usually pretty good and will find it for you
