Question about Kodak EasyShare M853 Digital Camera
I turned on my camera yesterday and discovered that the photo-shooting screen turned blurry and purple. The pictures come out the same way, and the screen does not do this when I am in the menu mode so I am assuming there is some kind of lens damage as well. The camera hasnt been dropped or exposed to liquid.. is there any way to fix this?
This is most likely due to a bad image sensor. If you are still under manufacturers warranty the repair should be covered, and if not I would have it looked at by an authorized service technician and get an estimate done. You can find an authorized service center by contacting the manufacturer, or you could bring it to a Geek Squad® precinct at a Best Buy™ store and they should be able to send it out for service.
