I have same no display but blinking blue power button light prob.I opened the 740n and seen these three 820mf/25v capacitors and they are definatly blown as I can clearly see that the top of all of em is not straight which is symptom of blown capacitor.I am not sure about the fuse All I see is one fuse just behind 220v power pin connector,a round brown fuse.
All I am confused is that what caused all this as if I even change the capacitors it might again blow the capacitors as there might be some other part malfunctioning.
Can anyone put some light on it as if there are any other solutions.

Hello. First, try to reset the control board. There are 2 buttons with arrows underneath. Press and hold them both for several seconds, maybe a little longer--this will perform a reset on the control board. See if that clears up the problem. Also, are there any lights blinking? Dishwashers will flash error codes(in binary format) by blinking certain lights in a pattern(i.e. The "sensing" light will blink 2 or 3 times, then the "cycle complete" light will blink 2-3-4 times--something like that) It could be any combination of lights depending on the component that has failed or has a problem. Components can be the drain pump, main wash motor, float switch(if present), heater circuit, inlet water valve, flood switch(if present), etc...

I have a 42inch bush tv and it's been working perfectly fine until this week. The tv now displays a blue flashing light all the time and won't let me turn it off or on. What shall I do?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.
Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Try a hard reset, before doing any repair to this set. To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better.

My Kindle 3G seems to have frozen.

Amazon recommends the following steps. As I'm sure you have already tried the power switch, try starting from Step #5 to do a hard reset on your Kindle.

  1. Unplug Kindle from power adapter or computer.
  2. Slide and release the power button. The LED light that surrounds the power button will display green for two seconds.
  3. Shut down Kindle by sliding and holding the power button for five seconds. The LED light will blink three times. Wait for the screen to go blank, then release the power button.
  4. Turn on the Kindle by sliding and releasing the power button.
  5. If Kindle is still not working, you can perform a hard reset by sliding and holding the power button for 15 seconds.
  6. If Kindle is still unresponsive, try charging Kindle before trying to restart the device once again.
  7. Make sure you have the latest software version available installed on your Kindle. The latest version is available here:

My 2840 Printer:\r\nWhen starting the ready like comes on and keeps blinking. The display says Hewlett-packard and there is a fast scrolling under the hewlett packard. I have checked all doors, and...

well there might be several things going on. Try to take out the fuser in the back, there are 2 blue locks. Wait a few minutes put it back and turn it on. If that doesn't work try an nvram (its a cold reset) Turn it off and press the ''enter'' and the '' * '' (where the numbers are) while holding down both keys turn it on and keep holding them until you get the message permanent storage init and then release wait to see if it get back to ready. You can also try to take all the supplies if possible if not at least the drum and reboot. Good luck

My HD50LPW62AYX2 RCA TV sometimes reverses the blue and reds. The peoples faces are blue, especially the lips.
Sometimes turning the TV off and then back on again fixes the problem. At other times this correction is good for only a second or two.
