Question about Dryers
Whirlpool Special Edition lgr3624eq2 gas dryer
when we first turn on the dryer it ignites and starts to dry. the gas turns off after a bit. you can here a faint chinging sound at the bottom of the dryer , and the igniter lights up, but the gas does not light. The igniter then turns off and the chinging stops. I noticed the timer was not moving, so I re-placed the timer. That did not do it. I found if i unplug the unit for a few minutes, it works for a load or so and then it strts acting up again. Could it be the gas valve? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Gary
Have an LGR3624EQ2 Whirlpool. Does not get hot. I disconnected the vent pipe from the machine and air moves out of machine fast - but stays cool. Do not hear it igniting. Cleaned dust out of back - still not heat. any ideas? Ovw

Gary suspect the coils on the valve are bad the coils come in a kit so change both
