This is the kind of thing it would be very difficult to fix without being there in person.
Do you still have the manual? It's possible there's some well hidden button or latch you have to hold in while you remove it. I tried to find a manual online, but was unsuccessful.
I did see where you can purchase one - though I doubt you'll want to pay the $16 for it. But, just in case, here's the link:
This is the website and they have posted some of their recipes there for free. http://www.buythebullet.com/bulletrecipes.php Another recipe that I use which is good for kids or adults is using the crystal light or koolade singles. you put one single, 4 or 5 ice cubes into the cup and fill the rest with water. Attach the cross blade and blend until ice is ground. This makes a perfect single serving slushy. Great for those hot summer days. You can also add an ounce or so of alcohol (flavored rums and vodkas are nice) and make it a cool cocktail!!
The purpose of this washer is to reduce the friction between the auger and the body of the grinder head. During the grinding process the auger is pushing food/meat forward to the disc and respectively reacting itsef backward. So, the washer goes over the back shaft of the auger as a surface of the contact with the body. You have to put it over this shaft before assembing the auger with the head body. The pasta maker attachment and the grinder both have identical augers.
