Hi. I bought a denon 1508 7.1 receiver.with jamo A10 speakers. Even Iam facing the same problem. No sound. in addition i can also get a burning smell from the receiver. [and faintly some indication of fumes!!] Its a brand new receiver bought from a authorised dealer in singapore. however i live in India and do not have warranty cover.

After 15 days of use, I had the problem of receiver getting into protect mode. Then I gave it to the denon center. They kept the receiver with them for 15 days. I was told transformer is damaged and they repaired. After 1 day of use post that - this new problem[system is on but no sound plus burnng smell] has occured.

    can any one help.

Denon 3802 connected to blu ray player but playi g dvds, how do i get dd 5.1?

You cannot get 5.1 sound from DVDs that are not encoded with 5.1 sound. They may be stereo, which will only send sound to the main front L/R speakers.

Ive had it for a while now. went to set it up again after moving it to another room and cant seem to get the sound from the television, i believe this may be due to putting the wires in the wrong holes in...

"wrong holes"?

Get the manuals and read up on it. Try or ask us specifically for help finding them.

You don't want to arbitrarily be plugging things into places they don't belong.

You don't mention any models. Please do.

Then clarify what you mean by "sound from the television"...

1. Its own speakers? Audio originating where? It matters.
2. TV-related audio sent to the receiver via the TV and not heard?

Sony STR-DE597P - Centre Sound Problem

You have a "ground loop" problem.
It's related to the AC wiring in your place.
I dont know if you have a Walmart or Home Depot type store near you but,if you do, go to one and ask for a AC circuit tester. Should be a 3 prong unit with LEDs. Plug one into where you have the stereo and see what it reads.
You might have lost a ground connection in the AC outlet

Sir, i need to download an audio driver for my via motherboard.but i cant find it audio codec also support named vinyl deck but i didnt find any downlod link.feeling helpless.thank you.

Something to consider: I did a Google search for "Vinyl Deck Codecs", and it seems vinyl deck to be associated with VIA Technologies, but if I were you I would double check for yourself. I did find this one link, which has a VIA AC97 codec combo drivers pack for several different OS`s, or you could go to Via Technologies, and look at their list of drivers. Note, since I do not know what os you use, type of computer, onboard sound/sounddcard, or even if the via drivers are for sure the ones you need, these hints, are just suggestions/a place to start. It is possible VIA drivers are not even the type you need, but vinyl deck seems to be connected with via. Remember Google is your friend. Good luck, I know the feeling, almost nothing worse than a computer without sound.

Problem with wireless conection between Samsung SWA-4000 and Samsung home theatre.

turn the main dvd player off, and press 0,1,3,5 on your remote, then turn on the player and the rear wireless receiver at as close to the same time as you can. should then light up the blue "link" light permanently.
