My scanner is showing a green light for power however when I press the scan copy or power button it does nothing. If there is any way you could help me that would be great

Copier may require you use the scan feature to make copies either ise the feeder otr flatbed. Press start on machine for manual entry but still use scan to get things working.
Yes follow the first steps to set up the scanner (charge it, properly insert the memory card, etc.) Then you are ready to scan Once
you press the SCAN button and the Green LED stays lit its time to roll
the scanner down your document to be scanned. When finished press the
Scan button again to STOP the scan. If successful your Document count
in the display will move from 000 to 001. That is the only indication
that you now have a successful scan. Next Press and hold the SCAN button until the display goes blank. Now
you can remove the memory card (by pushing in and it will release).
Place this memory card into a memory card reader on your computer to

Disconnect the power supply from the back of the scanner base. Disconnect the USB Interface cable and the ADF Accessory cable from the back of the scanner. Press
and hold the E-mail and Copy buttons at the same time. While pressing
the E-mail and Copy buttons, reconnect the power supply to
the scanner. Reconnect the power supply and turn on the scanner. Press the Scan Doc button. the carriage will start moving back and forth in the full scan bed length. To exit test, disconnect the power supply.

The flashing green light has the following meaning:

Issue The message 'Scanner failure, Power off and on' displays on the control panel of the product. This error usually occurs when trying to scan, to make copies, or during the product start up. Try the solutions in this document until the issue is resolved. It is not necessary to continue to the next solution if one solution resolves the issue. Solution one: Check the scanner light Make a color copy of any document by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the control panel. While the product is making the copy, slightly lift the scanner lid to see if the scanner light is visible. CAUTION: Do not look directly at the light. It is not necessary to completely open the lid to see the light. If the scanner mechanism moves across the scan bed, but the light is not lit, click here to service the product . Solution two: Check operating conditions Extreme temperatures can affect the operation of the product. Make sure the operating conditions match those recommended in the User Guide provided with the product. Solution three: Check the power connections
1. Make sure that the product is connected directly to a grounded wall outlet and not plugged into a power strip. 2. Make a color copy by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the control panel. 3.
