On my blitz bwa611 I get to the routers setup screen and it askes for username and password but I don't know the default one to use to set it up

I don't know what model that use, however here the best explanation for you..

Preparation:
1. Username and password for router.
2.Username and password for provider internet.
3.Ethernet cable (rj45 connection)
5. Pc /laptop to setup router ( on step i'm referred to pc)
4. Web browser( more preferred to using internet explorer current version)

Step:
1. Plug Ethernet cable to router
2. Plug another end Ethernet cable to pcthat you are using to setup
(Now you have cable was connected between pc and router)
3.Switch on the router.
4.Open web browser. Or click here http://192.168.1.1
5.Some window will popup
6.Enter the username and password for router. If default( mean you don't change username or password,you can leave blank for username and fill password with "admin")
If still can't enter try search at google with your model and brand for username and password default.
7.After success enter, then using the wizard .
8. Fill the username and password for provider.
9.FInish.

For step 7th, to 9th, you can directly go setup internet connection( depend to model, sometimes it just type setup) where you will find ppp username and ppp password.. change it..
Good luck and be careful. sometimes you make it right but router need time to create new connection..

normally the network key is located at the bottom of the router if it is newly installed, but if you forgot the network key you have setup then better open your router utility by knowing first what is your ip address.heres how 1. open Run command 2. type in cmd and hit ok 3. black screen will appear 4. type in ipconfig (no space) then enter 5. get the default gateway 6. open any browser you have, ie, firefox etc 7. on the address bar type in your default gateway then enter 8. you should see a page where it ask you to enter your username and password ( in order for you to know what is your username and password ., you have to visit you router manufacturer website to know what is your default usename and password, for some, they have "admin" for the username and "password" for password, some are using "admin" for both username and password, you can also try it) 9. lastly once you get into the router page, try navigating inside it, and locate the wireless settings security where the network key is located..

The one I had was set to User: admin Password: "password"

The default is admin and admin...

If that doesn't work, the reset button will clear the stored login information and reset your router to factory default.
Make sure you hold that button for about 15-20 seconds before you release it. After you did this, you can access your router again via the default IP address of 192.168.1.1

The default username and password for your Blitzz router are both "admin".

Don't forget that all your personal settings will be erased as well (wireless security, port forwarding etc.

If you have forgotten your username and password, the best way to correct your issue is to reset the router and setup a new username and password.

Linksys reset
The easiest method of resetting your Linksys router’s password is to reset your router back to the default factory settings. This is done by simply holding down the reset button located on the back of the unit for at least 30 seconds. Once the router has been reset, it must be reconfigured. Using your web browser go to URL address http://192.168.1.1. You will then be prompted to login to your router. A log-in screen asking for the password will automatically appear. At this time enter the default password “admin”, in lower case letters into the password field. The username field may be left blank at this time. (Note: both the default username and default password are set to “admin” on some of the newer Linksys router models).

the ip address should be set to 192.168.1.254

type 192.168.1.254 into a web browser if you are on the router and you should be good to go.

By default both the username and password are blank. Click the ok button to log in to your router

Open a web browser like internet explorer or Netscape. Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser.

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now. By default both the username and password are blank.
Click the Ok button to log in to your router.

If you already had a password, you need that or need to reset the router to factory settings in order to start over again.

All routers have a username and password on them, sometimes it doesn't come default and you have to set up. By default the username is admin, and the password is blank. Hope this helps

go to your "connect to" icon in the start menu, click"setup new connection" go through the steps when it asks you for encryption type click something other than "open" and enter your desired passcode
