Question about Canon imageRUNNER 5000 Copier
Is this error message regarding the same as E000003-0000? If so, how do I resolve? Thanks for you input.
Sort of, since both are fuser temperature related. First, the error needs to be cleared. Turning off/on won't do that.
You could go into service mode and clear the error (*28* > copier> function > clear > err > ok. Then turn the copier off, then on again and watch it heat up. I always monitor the temperature to make sure it's in the acceptable range (190 C or around that range).
If it happens often I'd have the thermistors changed. If it still happens, check the connectors in back of the fuser. They may need to be shimmed.
