Has modern jazz on player plays fine but nothing else. I followed all the steps and none of my music will play

If Your music player is not playing Your music serially, then it means the shuffle of Your music player is on. When the shuffle of Your music player is on, then the music will randomly play the music on Your music library for You. To turn it off, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Your phones menu,
2. Select the Media center,
3. Go to the options and select shuffle,
4. Turn it off,
   
5. Go to Your music player and play a song.

This time the song will play serially or how it is arranged in the music players list.

holding the MODE button will return you to the main screen. They are Music-Movie-Picture-Setting. You should be on the Music screen first. Pressing down will take you through these in order. Under Setting is LCD set, Language, online device, memory info, firmware, remove mtp info, default, exit.
While in Music (as long as you are not playing a song) tapping the MODE button will give you the option of going to the local folder or exit.
If you play a song and press MODE you are given the following options Play Mode, Equalizer, SRS WOW Mode, and exit.
Under Play mode are the options, Normal, repeat one, folder, repeat folder, repeat all, random, and intro.
Under Equalizer is flat, rock, pop, classic, soft, jazz, DBB
Under RS WOW mode is srswow, user setting, disable srs wow and exit.

Are you sure the music is the correct format that the player can recognize?

yes all resent dvd's changed to DVD VR mode (DVD Video Rom) where it used to be only DVD R, you might also having a problem on zones, if the new one come form anywhere but Australia there is a zone different and it will not play (just because you brought it here doesn't mean it came from here)

This looks like a Windows Media player error code. If so, try this.

The following are the steps that you should perform if your player is not receiving streams:

Open Windows Media Player.
If you don't see the menu selections File View Play Tools Help at the top of the player, RIGHT-click on the very top of the player and select Show Menu Bar.
Select Tools and then Options and the Network tab.
Under the Streaming Protocols section, be sure that ONLY TCP and HTTP are selected.
Select the Performance tab.
In the Connection Speed section, select Detect Connection speed (recommended).
Select the Player tab.
In the Automatic Updates section, be sure that Download Codecs Automatically is checked.
Be sure that Connect to the Internet (overrides all other commands) is checked.
Select the File Types tab.
Click the Select All button.
Click OK and totally close the player and try connecting again.

The solution to this problem was to download VLC Media Player for Mac(intel), works fine now, easy fix, just had to ask the right person.

Are you sure the memory card was formatted prior to uploading the files?

Make sure you have a mpeg4 decoder loaded into your computer.
You could try another player too.  www.divx.com is a great mpeg4 media player to use and it is free.

When things freeze up like this, usually a Firmware reload is the thing to attempt. You should have a disc with the player - follow the instructions carefully.
