Question about Samsung DVD-VR357
I'm going through a ton of DVD-R's on this unit. I record a program that airs nightly and because the programs are just kinescope quality anyway, I'm not worried about recording them at a high speed. So, I should be able to fit six hours worth of programming onto a disk. And I can...unless....I decide to put in a DVD of something else to watch. When I hit the "Open/Close" button, it automatically begins the finalization process. As a result, I have a bunch of DVD's that have only one or two episodes on them. How do I get it to stop doing this?
THIS IS ONE SORRY PIECE OF A DVD EQUIPMENT--BEEN USING LITE-ON & POLAROID DVD/HDD RECORDERS FOR THE PAST 3 YRS W/ GOOD RESULTS--THE SSVR-357 WORKS HALF-*** W/ DVD+R/RW`S
-R/RW`S ARE USELESS--THOUGHT SAMSUNG WAS AN INNOVATOR IN THIS FIELD, BUT NO WAY--
