It was difficult! But we did find the owners manual online free. You just have to sign up at this site and then you can download it. User manual SONY KV9PT40 - User guide SONY KV9PT40 - Operating instructions SONY KV9PT40 - - Diplodocs
The long and short of it - with the swivel attached to the cabinet still, pull down from the back of the tv and toward you. W had the base off the cabinet so I put the whole thing on the floor, put my feet on the back of the swivel, pulled the tv up and away from me. It took a bit but it finally broke free.
Good luck!

How do I remove the swivel neck assembly from the vacuum case?

You will also need to remove the screws on the inside that hold the motor in place because part of the side support for the swivel is under the motor. Remember to disconnect wires coming from the swivel as well before you try to pull it out, so that you do not damage them. Hope this helps.

How do i detach hose to remove blockage?

Lift the hose out as if you were going to use the attachments. At the base of the hose there is a swivel to adjust the hose 90 degrees. Where the lower section of the hose attaches to the swivel you will see that if you give the hose about a quarter turn then lift, it should come off to check for blockage. Also check the rear suction port located near the hose swivel for blockage. It resembles a parallelogram in shape and come off with 2 visible plastic screws.

I'm trying to attach supporting brackets to the rear of an LG SL90 TV. Should I use the same holes used for the supplied table top swivel mount?

Do not use the 4 holes for the table top swivel mount.

You have to use the 4 holes in the middle section on the back of the TV. These four hole are spead futher apart and require larger and shorter screws.

Good Luck.

Steps to remove swivel stand:
  1. Carefully place the product screen side down on a cushioned surface that will protect the product and screen from damage.
  2. Remove the 2 screws that are vertically in line next to the power socket.
  3. Remove the 2 screws that are vertically in line under the RGB socket.

Remove alternator from hyandai santa fe

once the car is jacked up, the wheel is removed, and the wiring is disconnected loosen the pivot bolt(14mm) on the bottom(it can't be removed with the alternator in place) and remove the top bolt(12mm). some prying will be needed to break it loose and swivel. now, if the car is supported with stands sufficiently and jacked up high enough you should be able to squat somewhat into the wheel well and grab the alternator with both hands. have a pry bar handy as well if you do not already have one and pry on the pivot ear a bit and get the alternator to swivel. once it breaks loose you should be able to swivel it, pry it, swivel it, pry it and so on. lifting it up and to the left and it should work it's way out. it will take a bit of effort at first and the car will rock some, hence the need for added support. I had a bottle jack and 2 jack stands for a more secure base.

DISCLAIMER: it's never completely safe to do anything with the car on a jack or stands so caution must be taken. if you aren't comfortable with this method I suggest a mechanic.

back to the repair.. once you get the alternator up out of the slot bracket then you should be able to turn the alternator for clearance and remove it with a fair amount of ease. I turned mine counter-clockwise for clearance.
all instructions are taken as given the battery negative cable has been disconnected, the belt has been removed from the pulley and you are at the point to work directly with the alternator.

Gateway CX2620 Swivel Screen Laptop

This is the worst solution I've ever heard. This guy is trying to steer you wrong I'm pretty sure. There is zero point in removing all the screws from under the batter/ zero point to removing the area around the power button. Absolute BS. The only part to remove is the part just above the top of the keyboard (silver strip with some black). Then by removing that you can pry the swivel black plastic cover off. Whatever you do.. do not follow Scott's writeup here. I'm telling you. It's sad it's stayed up so long.. so had to warn.

Assemble Swivel Assembly onto Kenmore Canister vac

Got this post off this web site...I just replaced my swivel and it worked:
http://www.managemyhome.com/mmh/answers/Answers.action#l4q110567
To install a new swivel assembly, you will need 2 small, flat tip screw drivers. Unplug the vacuum. Push the screw drivers in between the hose and the collar where you see the seams in the plastic collar on the end where the hose enters the collar. This will release tabs that hold the collar to the swivel. Pry and pull the collar back over the hose and then pull the small screwdrivers out of the collar. Slide the collar back along the hose. Unplug the wiring connections from the hose. Pull the hose wires up and out of the holder on the swivel assembly. Lift the tabs on the side of the hose and pull it off of the swivel. Push the new swivel onto the hose. Align the hose wires and secure them in the holder. Plug the wires from the swivel into the hose wires (blue to blue, white to white). Secure the swivel wires into the wire holder on the swivel assembly. Push the collar back up the hose and onto the swivel with the plastic seams aligned with the tabs on each side of the hose. Snap the collar securely into place.
