My computer "goes black" all of a sudden, connected to the ac adaptor, not running on battery, and while I'm using it. In order to have it "come back", I need to turn it off by keeping the power botton down a few seconds, and then turn it on again. It's been doing it for the last month (I baught the laptop in February). Virus scan comes clean. I'm on the Windows Vista, with updates.
