Sharp microwave & convection & turn table on model R1874F won't work

That would be just a defective secondary interlock (bottom door switch) or its mount.

My help file on door switches is here.

The service manuals you need are here and here.

You can get other Sharp parts from Encompass here or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

Turn table won't turn on ewave microwave oven

Almost certain if microwave still heats a bad motor or gear issue inside the unit--if unit will not heat the safety switch in the side that the door engages is the cause of the wheel or platter not turning--prevents unit from use if door open.

Door latch

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Open Lever If the microwave door won't open the open lever might be broken. This part can be replaced separately.

Door Spring If the microwave door won't open the door spring may have broken. The door spring is located inside the door and keeps downward pressure on the door hook.

Door Latch If the microwave door won't open the door latch might be broken. The door latch is inside the microwave. The door hook, which is part of the door, engages with the latch to keep the door closed during operation. If the door latch or actuator breaks the door may not open.

Door Hook If the microwave door won't open the door hook might not be releasing properly. The door hook is installed inside the door and normally releases when the door is opened. The hook is made of plastic and will break over time. When this happens it will need to be replaced, it can't be repaired.

Button Spring If the microwave door won't open the button spring might be broken internally. The button spring can be replaced.
Button If the microwave door won't open the button might be broken internally. The button can be replaced.

Handle Actuator If the microwave door won't open the handle actuator might be broken. This is a plastic part which can become brittle over time. This part is connected between the door button and the door latch assembly.

TURN TABLE DOES NOT OPERATE. WHIRLPOOL MICROWAVE Sep 06 Ser #RT 37 13345

Hello!
There is a small motor inside the bottom of the microwave that turns the table. Check the base and see if that is not broken. If that is ok, it is most likely that the motor for that is shot. It is easy to fix but may not be worth the hassle.
You need to remove the cabinet (while unplugged, naturally) and take the bottom apart to replace this. There may also be a small cover underneath the machine which accesses this part, saving trouble, so check there first. Unscrew the small motor and take to a parts dealer in your area for pricing of replacement
Hope this helps, Please rate and comment, Thank You Joe

My convection/microwave quit rotating.

Hello Tina,
Usually those turn tables(or lazy Susan's colloquially) are driven by a small motor. The motor attaches to a gear or spindle which transfer the rotational energy to the turn table. A plastic gear may have been broken or popped loose. It might also use a belt to transfer the energy, the belt could have worn and is now slipping which would cause the table to stay stationary.

GE Microwave turning table not turning...

Either the turntable motor is defective (or the connections to it), or the physical link between the motor table drive is broken. If everything else works, probably unlikely a controller issue. Many motors are accessed from the bottom and can be disconnected there. Be sure to UNPLUG unit first.

Turn Table wont turn

if you can check the turn table motor for resistance. 90 percent would be a broken motor which you could replace. just look for the motor at the bottom of the microwave and race the wire back to the pc board.

i hope i was able to help..
pls rate me

tnx,
