It has the size pipe the service manual says it has, or whatever the mechanic replaced it with. Get a calipers and measure it; look at the ends and see if it was the wrong size in the first place.
You'll be pleased to know that there is no single size of course, because flex pipe comes super fat and has to be conditioned to the right size carefully. Additionally, the other pipes merely have minimum sizes in the spec. repair manual, not given sizes.
See why muffler people don't seem all that fenced in?

Let us know how your Compag Presario/Mitsubishi Accent thing goes, eh?

How do I reduce size of type in email messages

Hi!

Are you referring to the size of the font?

Depending on the email program or website you're using, usually it's in the formatting bar, with a number 12 or 14 in it.

If you can reply back with the name of the email program or website you use, I can send you a guide.

Hope this helps!

Tip

Grounding yourself and saving your components from shock

Grounding yourself is one of the most basic things to do when working with electronic components. While most people know that a pipe for say a sink (or a water pipe if you happen to be working in an unfinished basement), is grounded by being in the the actual ground.
Most people have felt the shock of a finger touching someone while after walking around in socks. Walking in socks will help keep your American floor more clean, rather than bringing in the filth that our shoes go through. Shoes have been in parking lots public bathrooms, and everywhere you can think, so keeping the shoes at bay next to the open doors is healther.

But no shoes means more static. so touch one of those water pipes and you will be grounded. and the chips, say a ram chip will not be fried. If you dont have pipes exposed, there are still several ways to ground yourself. The easiest is to touch a bare metal surface that is grounded. For some this might be the back of a desk top where the power plug in is located. For others try touching your sink faucet, might as well wash your hands while your there.

static although its around our daily lifes, can cause big trouble for chips. for them its like lightining. thousands of volts can be transmitted and fry chips. so be sure to ground yourself before working on any computer electronic component.

How do you delete old email 'address'es in my computer file

Which email account ?

Erase Email Addresses in My Computer

Email addresses can be stored on a computer if you use email software, such as Microsoft Office Outlook and Yahoo Messenger Beta.

Deleting email addresses manually from these programs does not actually completely erase them from your computer.

To erase email addresses permanently, meaning that a hard drive recovery program will not be able to restore them if it is used, requires a process called formatting, which completely erases the information on a hard drive.

Click on the shortcut "My Computer," which you can locate on your desktop.

Right click "Local Disk (C:)" and select the "Format" option.

Change the "Allocation Size Unit" to "Default Allocation Size."

Click the "Start" button.

The email addresses, as well as the rest of the files on the hard drive, will now be erased.

Delete a Live Mail Email Address

Windows Live Mail is a part of the Windows Live suite of productivity and entertainment programs, and it is intended to be the new free email client for Windows beginning with Windows 7.

After trying Windows Live Mail, you may decide that you have added too many email addresses and that you would prefer to use the email client to check only one address.

Remove an email address from Windows Live Mail to reduce the clutter in your email inbox.
Launch Windows Live Mail, and browse to the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen.

Click "Accounts."

Click the email account that you would like to delete.

Click the "Remove" button.

A message will appear to remind you that any messages belonging to the email account that are not backed up in another location will be deleted permanently.

Click "OK" to confirm.

The account will be deleted immediately.

Click "Close" to return to Windows Live Mail.

Delete Hotmail Adresses

Log in to your hotmail account and click "Help."

Search for "Cancel Account" and select "Why are all my email messages gone?"

Expand the option that says "Close a free Hotmail account" and click "Windows Live Hotmail close account."

Click "Close Account" on the page that opens.

If you do not sign in to your account for 365 days, your account will also be deleted.

Hope this helps.

Hello, I have an HP Pavilion a310n PC Desktop. Windows XT home Celeron 2.70ghx CPU 400 MHz Front side bus Socket mPGA478 Chipset 845GL Motherboard manufacturer: Trigem 2.69 GHZ, 760MB PC2100 DDR...

There is no limit in the size of the hard disk. The DDR2 memory is slow, it will have an impact if you're going to ply HD content - get a 9500 with DDR3 and a memory bus of 128 bits. . The processor is also very weak, get a much better P4. The rest is ok for now.

How to fix email address typed in wrong spelling

i'm going to ASSUME that you've set up Outlook Express (or Outlook) and typo'd your email address while setting it up. To fix this error, open your email program, choose Tools, then from that drop-down menu choose Accounts. You'll see several accounts usually, only one of which is yours (the rest were created as default access accounts to help you find information). Click ONCE on YOUR account to select it (usually turns that line blue) then move your mouse pointer to the right and click on Properties. This will OPEN your account and allow you to look at all of your entries. Find the misspelled email address, correct it and click on OK at the bottom to keep your changes. Best wishes, Jim

I have a Presario 1700T notebook. It freezes after 5 minutes of usage. I think it's heat related. How do I disassemble the laptop to replace the heatsink/fan?

yes, to do that turn over your Laptop and let it relax on a well balance area then remove your battery slide out your hard drive and then use your appropriate Screwdriver and open the screws at the back then look to your long screw that comes out its meant for the Keyboard then turn over after loosing the screws then raise your keyboard a little about 45 degree then push it out at the back u will find a cord at the back so transparent be gentle when removing those part and target those place in case of puting them back then your palmrest pull-tab that is attached to the palm rest flex cable connector to remove it from the interface connector on the system board
Notice: Carefully separate the palm rest from the buttom case to avoid damage to the palm rest.then after making it open u see the microprocessor thermal cooling assembly then loosen the four captive screws that secure the processor then u have the thermal heat sink is with the processor remove it and make sure u add the cooling paste to ensure well cooling and replace as required u for open.
    bye

    Knock, Knock?

ok, from what I know from past experience it sounds like your hard drive is going bad. If this is the case back up all your information NOW - documents, email, addresses, favorites from explorer, and any special objects from special programs (and don't forget your pictures!)

Get a new hard drive, check what size your Hard Drive is now - and MAKE sure the new one is at least that size. Then install new drive - use your restore disks (from the company you bought your computer from) to put on the new drive, then of course you will have to restore your programs and then your saved items.

Try doing a system restore to a few days before you started having this problem, by going start, programs, accessories, system tools. The rest is pretty self explanatory.
