Question about Heating & Cooling
My honeywell st7100 CH & HW controller has suddenly stopped working and fails to respond when i try to swith on either the CH or HW via the 'manual switch-on' or 'extra hour' options by pressing the buttons. The unit is approx 18 years old. Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing the problem ??
Pull the unit straight out and away from the wall. It is plugged into the baseplate. The batteries are behind or among the 30 pieces in your hand and on the floor,,,, AH! Just kiddng, you wil see the batteries on the backside.
When pulling off use gentle rocking as you pull. You will see why when it is off. To reinstall, just line up the oinds and press in place.

Try changing the batteries. Most times the "tivo" buttons will work but the "tv" buttons will stop working when the batteries are low.
If you have done that, go back into settings and program the remote again for your tv, then give it a shot.

SOURCE: Dishwasher will not start
you can hold the start atop button down for 5 seconds to re set it or you can turn off the circuit breaker to the dishwasher for 20 sec. That should help. If not, it probably is a bad celenoid which a repairman needs to replace

I have not experienced it but I know that if you bought your FreshAir from a dealer with EcoQuest you are entitled to a 3 year warranty.
Contact the manufacturer EcoQuest at 1-800-989-2299 and choose technical assistance from the menu. You will be guided through some trouble shooting and if needed you will get an RMA number so you can send your unit in for repair.
If you are not in contact with your EcoQuest dealer anymore and the unit has never been registered with the company you need a purchase receipt with the date on it.
Hope this helps!

All, I had this same problem as well. I called the LG Support Line and they told me the unit needed to be serviced. I went through the motions of getting the service providers and what have you, but I wasn't going to go through with it because the closes service provider was a 45 minute drive. I posted how disappointed I was because I had only had the unit for a year, but could not find my earlier post.
Anyay, I am glad I went through the motions, because a few days later LG called and told me they would be shipping me a refurbished replacement. Wow. That was a treat. They shipped me a refurbished unit and had me send the old one back. I did not have to pay a dime. The sent me the Fedex shipping label via email and I called Fedex and they came by and picked it up.
I cannot remember if I had registered the unit when I initially purchased it. Sometimes I won't do that because it seems only to serve as a license to sell me stuff. They took down all my contact information and sent me the unit so I don't know. I would simply encourage everyone with the CH 01 error code to give LG a call via the support number from their website at lgappliances.com. Good luck!
