Hi nexy - the best I can do for now is a couple things snd nothing definitive. Usually when a cell is off it takes 2 to 3 three rings before it goes to voice mail. When its' on about 5 to 6. There's a real good chance these are at the discretion of your service provider. That's my best bet. I've included a link to your manual in case you don't have yours. Look at page 50 (i think) and it tells about voice mail settings. You can go in there and take a look but don't get your hopes up. If this answered your question PLEASE rate as fixed. If your going to rate helpful or otherwise please don't rate. I've had many cell phones and I think I answered your question. So please rate fixed or not at all. I'd appreciate it. Thanks much nexy. Call you provider!!

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Turn off voicemail 6408D+

Turning off voicemail is usually done by the voicemail administrator, they can reset passwords and add or delete a mailbox on an extension. The number of rings before going to voicemail is usually system wide, and that program is changed by whoever programs your phone system.

Increase number of rings before voicemail, vtechcs6419

The CS6419 isn't an answering machine. The phone will ring until you answer, an answering machine or voicemail system picks up, or the caller hangs up.

To change the ring count on an answering machine or voicemail system, refer to the documentation for that system. If you require further assistance, please add a comment to this question and identify the answering machine or voicemail system.

M7310 voicemail

You need to access Admin programming in the phone system and navigate to Capabilities and change the Forward No Answer to the DN of the voicemail....if unsure of any of this you need to be calling your vendor that handles the system for all issues or questions.

Our DECT2015 phone only rings 4 times and then stops. How cane I adjust the ringing time of our phone? Thanks Peter

Do you have voicemail or an answering machine? This is usually a sign that another device (fax, answering machine or voicemail service) is set to answer the call after 4 rings. You will need to lengthen to number of rings before the service/device in question picks up. (The method to reset this will depend on the service/device that is picking up.) Another possibility is a call forwarding service that is enabled at 4 rings.

I hope this helps. Please write back with details on the device that could be picking up for details on setting the number of rings. If you have voicemail or call forwarding, check with your telephone service provider to lengthen the number of rings before the service kicks in. (There are too many for me to know all of the providers instructions.)

Incoming calls ring 3 times at main extension, then phone stops ringing at main & rolls over to ring at all other phones. Phone rings once at those extensions before going to voicemail. (We have...

Your voicemail thinks that it is ringing six times. The time that it takes to transfer to the extensions counts. Whiloe it seems that there is a lapse the system actually is using enough time to ring six times total. If you need longer ring time at the extension, take in account the transfer time and set it to pick up after 8 or 9 rings. It will actually only ring six. You just have to trick the system a little.

# of rings before voicemail picks up

Yes there is, but you have to know multiplication :-)

At the extension, from the intercom dial *713 and the 2-digit time in seconds. An internal ring cycle is about 6 seconds. I think the default time comes from the system and it may be 40 seconds.
