No Power to Philips DVDR3480/05

posted by wil4256 on May 18, 2008

I have just upgraded the software on my Philips DVDR3480. The upgrade seemed to work fine, right until i got the final message that the upgrade was successful and to eject the disc and press ok.
The disc would not eject, and now the whole unit appears to be dead. It has no power lights on at all. and will not turn on.
The unit was only brought 8 weeks ago.
