Question about Gateway FPD2275W LCD Monitor
My 24" Gateway TV does not have inputs for the std. Yellow, white and red AV cable that came with the PS3. Can I just buy and use a HDMI cable to connect my PS3 with my Gateway TV?
If your PS3 has HDMI capability and the monitor has HDMI capability, it should work as long as the monitor can match to the specs of the PS3.
I am not sure, but I think the PS3 required the capability of 1080p from the TV set. Make sure that your TV is able to see 1080p.
For HDTV, the standard A/V cable set is of no use. That is why your monitor probably does not support the standard A/V format.
