Well, these are the minimum specs for Age of Conan:

OS: Windows Vista/XP
Processor: 3GHz Pentium IV
RAM: 1GB RAM
Video Card: Shader Model 2.0 and 128MB RAM: NVIDIA GeForce 5800 or ATI 9800

These are the specs of your computer (base):

  • Intel Pentium 4 550 (3.4GHz) Processor
  • 1GB PC2-4300 DDR2 Memory
  • Two 74GB WD SerialATA Hard Drives in RAID0 Drive Array
  • 16x DVD+/-R and 48x CD-RW Burner Optical Drives
  • Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Audio
  • NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Graphics Card with 256MB
Seems to me that you are okay. Would a faster computer be better? Of course. But as you are, the game should play alright. Upgrading to an 8 series Nvidia is worth the change, though.

Drop down your resolution to 800x600 or 640x480 if you have to. Other than that, that new graphics card will work wonders! And perhaps a jump in memory too... like another gig.

Hi im looking to upgrade my dell dimension 4700 graphics card. I currently am running a radeon x300. the minimum improvement im looking for is 512mb. also wondering if ill need to increase my psu as I...

Since you want to upgrade your video card to a much powerful one, you can check this out ATI Radeon HD 4670 HD4670 512MB DVI PCIe Video Card.

Doing the upgrade a power supply upgrade is also advisable since new video card like now requires a high power supply, upgrade the power supply to at least 500W and for a additional fan is already recommended to avoid any overheating problem.

dear, now-a-days, games are coming with high graphics. so its depends upon u that what kind of game u want to play.
256/512 mb will fulfill you need.
moreover, check some games requirments, so which one u want to play and see its graphic requirements. its depends upon Ram too.
