Absolutely nothing happens when I press the start button. This has been happening off-and-on for the last several months but the dryer eventually starts. Today, it ran one load and it refuses to start for anymore loads. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Push the button manually and see if the light goes off . If it does , then the problem is the thermal fuse (a white slim piece of plastic with 2 wires connected to it ) located on the blower housing beneath the drum .
hi thanks for the question i looked it up and the most likely cause for this problem is the thermal fuse located at the back of the dryer remove back panel and on the air duct you will see a small plastic piece with 2 small blue wires going to it replace this part but also clean all venting to the outside as this will cause this to happen the appliance doc
