Question about Hotpoint 24 in. DWF32P Free-standing Dishwasher
My hotpoint aquarius dwf30 dishwasher is washing with cold water its not heating up i have been told it may be the element. What is to stop me plumbing it in to the hot supply under my sink.
Hope you can help Lee
You can plumb into hot but there are some snags
first hot water pressure is often a lot lower than cold so the machine may take a long time to fill
second if the water is too hot it will destroy the resin of the water softener and you will see brown marks on the crockery.
third it a bit uneconomical as you will use a lot of hot water
