Buttons don't work (by 7 users)

The only button that works is the red off button.The phone will still receive calls if it is closed

I have the same problem.

none of my buttons work either! but my phone does work in my car when i use sync.... how annoying! It doesn't turn off unless i take out the battery.

Have same problem. Neither the side buttons nor the key pad buttons. Can call using car bluetooth and can answer the phone when I get in coming calls. Nothing else works. Took it to AT&T and was told I would have to get a new phone! This phone is 2 years old.

Same problem. Only the red button works to put it on. No asking foor SIM-code, just Hellomoto appears on the screen. To power off i have to remove the battery.

My phone worked fine & then all of the sudden they stopped working. The key pad & the side buttons won't work. The only button that works is the red on/off button. I still receive phone calls but I'm unable to awnser them. Please help.

No buttons would work except the off button, and it automatically dials number 7, and 9, and go on to voice record by itself, and starts deleting dialed calls. then it started working the next day for about 5 minutes, and stopped.. I took care of it like a baby, never dropped, no scratches even. Should not have happened, very pissed.

Try mobile2mobile.net, unlockitnow.com or take it to a mobile service center to have it unlock there for a small fee.

1213joec - the flexcable on the phone needs to be replaced.

Slayer57689 - the flexcable needs to be replaced

gandon - you need to have a keypad flex file reloaded on the phone to get this problem fix.

viogil - replaced both the flexcable and the cable connected on the earpiece of the phone.

nmac - replaced both the flexcable and the cable connected on the earpiece of the phone.

Guest - keypad needs to be replaced and phone needs to be reflash.
