Question about RCA TH1101 MP3 Player
You can also delete directly from the player by going to my computer and selecting whatever drive letter is representing your player. Mine is G:. You can easily delete that way.

I went to My Computer. Clicked on the MP3 Player. And pressed format, but it took all the songs off the MP3 Player.

Use Windows Media Player.
If you are using Windows Media Player 11, go to the sync tab and make sure it is displaying only the files on your Mp3 player, and not every file stored on your Computer's hard drive. Click once on a song you want to delete, and then hit the delete button on your computer's keyboard.
