You might have damaged the mother board. im a game consol repair service owner and personal what i would do is go to ebay and buy a new power switch first of all this will cost you about 10.00 and that covers shipping. install it your self correctly put the console back together give it a nice 4-5 hour charge and see what happens. also u could try popping the battery out for a hour and put it back in. you might have damaged the mother board and if so you need to buy a new mother board which will cost you 90-110.

if the power botton is broken is could cause the system to power on and off and maybe even freeze. fix the power botton

My psp drop on the floor it fall on the floor around a foot high when I open it the screen shows that there is no memory stick inserted. The memory stick was inside it

The memory stick was probably damaged during the fall.
First, take the memory stick out and examine it for any cracks, bends, or other blemishes. If it looks fine, I would try the stick in another device and see if it works. If the stick works in another machine, it means the system itself probably got damaged, but if the stick doesn't work in any device, it probably means you only need to buy a new memory stick.

My son dropped his psp on the floor!!!

Yes this can be fixed... it sounds as though the LCD screen [the screen on the inside] has become damaged with the fall. The following website sells the LCDs and does replacements. The cost depends on the model of the PSP that you own. You can find the model number of your PSP on a label inside the back of the PSP if you remove the battery. Check them out:

The screen went black

You can try plugging it in to your tv via a component cable and see if it works. If it does then you have a screen issue, if not, then you have a mobo issue. either way, sell it on ebay.

Psp only showing half of screen when dropped

Sounds like you broke the screen. I have done a repair like this before and I found it pretty easy to fix.I bought a new screen for a PSP 1000 (not slim) on ebay for about $25. You can look up on youtube.com for a video on how to remove your case and screen. There are many videos and you could watch them all to get an idea. Just be careful with removing the ribbon cables from the motherboard. Some snap up toward you and some snap up away from you. Just take your time with it and be patient. If you get stuck and your not sure what or how to do something, just post the question here. Also, be carefull not to loose the rubber connector for the joystick as it can easily fall out and get lost. All other parts are pretty much intact and will not fall out. Remember screw locations as some are different sizes and inserting one in the wrong spot can crack your screen again. Good luck and give yourself a good hour from start to finish.

I would presume the 378_PSPRadio0.37Final.zip you downloaded is a homebrew software, which is only allowed to run on a custom firmware, for custom firmware download and information, please refer to http://dark-alex.org/ , the most well known psp developer.

Apart from that, the 3.71 firmware does not support internet radio, the upcoming 3.80 firmware come with a internet radio function, but it would not be as useful as the PSPradio 0.37.

Best choice for you is go for the custom firmware!
