Computer Running Slow

Okay, you have the same issue I used to have. I inherited a laptop from my mother, and she was the second owner. It was loaded with programs I didn't need, and had a zillion files tucked away. If you can go into your control panel and access the add or remove programs, go through it and remove every stinkin' one of the optional programs you don't ever use, or can do without. Be sure you know what you are removing. Next --and this may sound silly, especially if you have done it already-- you need to go into your homepage in your internet connection and clear all browsing history from every browser you use. These can include google, msn, explorer, firefox, etc. I find if I don't clear my browser frequently, my computer is a real *******. The next obvious step would be to get into all my documents files and delete any old files, such as photos that you don't want, a huge music collection, etc. I have all of my music stored on my D drive, because it has the same memory as my C drive, but is nearly empty. You can store and easily access all your entertainment files in D if you have a large capacity. I would perform this test: from your start menu, open my computer and right click your c, or main hard drive and click on properties. This should give you info on how much storage space you have left on the disc. If it is less than 50 percent, you may need to delete some old trash. Do the same with your d drive. If all else fails, you can go into your recovery program and see if you can wipe the computer, but that is a last resort. I had to do this with mine so I could program it to recognize me as the computer administrator. I was tired of fighting with a zillion hidden files I couldn't get into, much less locate. Hope this will help.

EeeBox PC EB1007 doesnt boot

Don't assume that a lack of video is a bios issue. I'd first look at the monitor and then the video card.
Use another monitor to check the output. Unfortunately, your video circuit is integrated with the motherboard. Unless you have a PCI card to put into the computer, you won't be able to easily identify a video problem.
I have seen, though, a bad power supply affect the video output so that is an area to check.

After powering on monitor says no sync

I've almost the same problem. When the system turns on the monitor doesn't sync. After a variable trials with down/up the sync is enabled and the computer starts.A very clear event occurs : when the monitor can''t sync ( and system doesn't boot)you can hear very clear a high fan rotation. When I look/hear in the system the Isuspect the cpu fan. The system boots ( monitor syncs) when the fan rotationgoes from high to low. So the system hangs on an internal check on the rotation speed of the cpu fan.I've googled a lot , but until now doesn't find an answer . Possibilties which I think about : replace cpu fan , clean cpu fun ( but it looks clean).I cannot measure the fan rotation speed when the system is hanging. At normal rotation all info can retrieved witth the program cpu-z.Did you already have a solution ?

My friend karen press the power button, thre is no power... there blinking lights on the back of the computer near the fan power ...

Do you hear the harddrive start up? When you push the power button (or switch on the back) do the lights go out? If you hear fan running and hard drive start up then the computer itself might be on but the monitor isn't. Check the power to the monitor, the connection between monitor and computer to make sure they are all on and connected.

If you don' t hear the fan running then you have other problems. Any blinking lights would indicate something is getting power. I'm assuming the computer was working before the power button was pushed... If the monitor is actually working, you could hook up another monitor to check too then you have other problems but need more info to know what that could be.

would need to know the answer to the above questions as well as if it was working before, what was done, what changed between it working and this problem. Also what age the machine etc.

When i start the system the fan runs in high speed and the system not booting, i have tried with replacing RAM, SMPS still then the problem persist

The fan you hear when the the computer start, is the power supply fan, the system not booting up mean you should check the cable which connect the monitor to the computer If the connection it proper then you should check the video card you can do this by try using another monitor or replace the video card because if its faulty the computer will never boot.

Dell Inspiron 531 (desktop) won?t turn on/boot

You've either got a bad motherboard or a bad processor (I'd lean to the motherboard being bad). I would honestly take this into a computer repair shop and have them check both.

Emachines t2899 will come on and fans run but screen is still blank

Actually, the monitor is fine. The problem is that the computer isn't booting. The power comes on and the fans spin, but the system board isn't starting. Try reseating the memory modules in their sockets and clearing the CMOS memory using the jumper on the system board. If the problem continues, try another power supply. Finally you may need to replace the system board.

Problem of auto re start of computer

It sounds like a heat issue. When a processor gets to hot it will cause a reset to prevent damage to the motherboard. Make sure your computer is vented properly and not closed up tightly in a cabinet or desk. Also you might want to remove the side cover and blow it out real good with a can of compressed air that you can find at any computer store or walmart. This should fix your problem. You can also download a free program called "Mother Board Monitor 5" that reports the temp of your motherboard and processor. It can be set to alarm before you actually get the resets you are expierencing. This way you can tell what is actually going on with your system. I hope this helps!
