VP-01 I'M LEARNING THAT THERE ARE NO DRIVERS FOR THIS VIRGIN PULSE VP-01. SO BAISICALLY I SHOULD TOSS IT.. SOMEONE GAVE IT TO ME WITH NO CD OR DISC. SO I'VE A USELESS DEVICE.

I had the same problem with mine. All you have to do is search these keywords: Virgin, MPF-1000, Driver, Download
When you search those keywords you should have quite a few options to download the drivers needed. Anyway, here are a few links to the software and/or drivers needed for you to be able to get your Virgin Pulse MPF-1000 working.
That will be all you need to do. Once you have installed the driver, plug the MP3 into the USB. Once you plug it in the autoplay should come up and just go from there. Please let me know if this solves your problem.
The VP-02 is based on the MPIO FL-100. You can get the MPIO manager software from www.MPIO.com. The latest version is MPIO manager version 2 buils 1.8.0.0
1. To set the clock to leave the unit in standby mode. (Plug in the AC cord to a wall outlet without switching unit on).
2. Press SET button for about five seconds until AM--12:00-- stops flashing.
3. Press down TUNING button to adjust hour, and up TUNING button to adjust minute.
4. Press SET button to confirm time set.
