No sound from acer desktop (by 2 users)

I recently deleted a couple of programs from my computer and now there's no sound when I play music files. A friend says that I need to re install my sound drivers but I don't know which one since I don't know the motherboard type. What I do?

Hello I moved my computer and went to connect the speakers and there is no sound.... I have looked at the manual and reconnected and still no sound from my speakers... Can anyone help me
