Word application freezes while using 'find' in word...

i have upgraded my office 97 to 2003 and 2003 to now 2007 i have installed SP1 for Office 2007 and i have syric language pack installed on my computer i have 300 pages document i am trying to use 'find' in that document whenever i am using find window to search the word in document word freezes and etting error message which says 'word is trying to recover document' next window is 'close the program you may loose your data after closing program' this is first message on that window second message in 'Wait for response' its really very frustrating i dont want to loose my 300 pages document its creating recovery files for that document
