No water my kenmore dishwasher is not getting any water. when we try to select normal wash or water miser cycle, the motor turns on, I can tell water is getting to the dishwasher because i can hear it running under the sink and feel it in the flexpipe that feeds the dishwasher. It is not getting anything inside though. Just wondering if you have any ideas. Thanks

I cannot get my disher washer to work. It just seems to have a mind of it's own. When i select the norm cycle I hear the water and it just sits at the bottom and the cycle runs out without washing anything. What is the issue?

My dishwasher goes through a normal cycle/time but there is no water getting to the dishwasher. This is a new problem and has never happened before. It is heating up.

SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE EITHER A FLOAT THAT IS STINKING OR A WATER INLET VAVLE THAT HAS FAILED. THE FOAT IS THE LITTLE MUSHROOM LIKE DOME WHICH IS PLACED AT THE FRONT LEFT SIDE UNDERNEATH THE BOTTOM RACK PULL UP GENTLY ON THE FLOAT UNTIL U HEAR A CLICK AND MAKE SURE THAT IT DROPS FREELY WITH NO DEBRIS UNDER IT SUCH AS SPOON, STRAWS, TOOTHPICK, ETC. IF THAT DOES NOT SOLVE THE ISSUES YOU HAVE A WATER INLET VAVLE THAT HAS GONE BAD

Kenmore ultra wash dishwasher gets stuck at 42 on the control panel

Be aware that all (well, almost all) dishwashers have a "thermal hold" period in their cycles. This is the point in the main wash cycle where the heater is turned on to heat the water to the optimum wash temperature (about 150 to 160 deg F), and during this time, the timer will stop advancing. Once the water has reached the desired temperature, the cycle will continue. IF it does not, then you have a water heating problem. This could be caused by a bad heating element, a bad controller, a bad thermostat or temperature sensor.

What is the sequence to reset kenmore dishwasher 665.16719000? The buttons from left to right are pots/pans, normal wash, water miser, china gentle, quick rinse, high temp, air dry, delay wash, start

Press "high temp wash, heated dry, High temp wash, heated dry, high temp wash, heated dry, high temp wash, heated dry, high temp wash"

All the lights will go solid at which point you press cancel to reset the board.

**NOTE** if you don't have a "heated dry" button, use the "air dry" or "energy saver dry" button instead.

My dishwasher is seeming to stay on the wash cycle. How long is a normal wash cycle?

Dishwashers today use a lot less water and energy to do this they filter the water like crazy this makes the wash times go way up, the motor used today uses only a little power so a long cycle does not cost much.

They average wash time for a new machine is 90 - 120 minutes. Some high efficiency units can run 4 hours per cycle.

Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher Problem

there is no real way of checking the keypad. Not with a meter but if you push normal wash for example and it does not respond this usually means that you have a bad keypad

Won't start, can't change wash selections

hi there,

can you tell me if you can hear the motor running? if not
did you trip the house breaker? if not
can you open the door? if not
it's the door latch; if yes
is there water on the bottom of the dishwasher? if yes
you are not draining and the dishwasher lost power; if not
the timer is not advancing to the next cycle

let me know.
