Hi there,
this is only a problem if you don't have a copy of the installation cd for the programs that were removed... other than that you can always reinstall them again, when ever you need too.... as it relates to norton ... try to install as soon as possible .. you dont want to catch a virus on your system....

Why not use the built in fdisk that comes with your windows installation disc?

When you get to the partitioning part of the install, remove your current partition, create a new one and format it.

Please help my computer keep having a pop about a virus and worm but I already have Iolo protection but now it just locks everything up it keeps saying activate this new protection

Be real careful, because there are websites that will launch this dialog box and no matter which answer you choose.... YOU LOSE! because it'll install a virus..
Your best bet is a program such as NORTON Utilities or a reputable app.
Keep it running in the background and even if you run into one of these foney dialog boxes again, simply force quit your program without closing the dialog box... be careful..

I need help programing the keys for pre set prices....HELP

Hello,

I my Casio Cash Register, there is a USB port that can connected into my PC. The provided software, allows a more humanistic format for programming the PLU's and Department keys. The mode on the cash register, is harder, but, if you avoid the "coding" features, and just work on the PLU's and Department Codes, you can struggle through it. "Hopefully" the USB port is there for you ? I did get a better manual off of their website over the one that was included, and their tech dept, is reasonably helpful for simplistic questions.. obviously, they can't do it for you, or spend enough time to get you through each key, but, they can answer a few questions to get you on your way.

Once you get the gist of things, with the USB port, a very low res graphic can be added to the top of your receipt tape for Class, Above all else, 'X' daily, 'Z' weekly.. you'll have better control of your numbers if you do. It took me month's to get in to the habit of doing it daily and every Saturday or ?

If need some additional encouragement, you may contact me directly at delltech@ncbb.net .

Respectfully,

VERY SLOW

a generic fix-all for slow computers is:
add RAM, Defragment your Hard drive and make sure you are using a stable OS (i wouldn't recommend Vista).

Antivirus Update & Computer Failure

You know i don't know why everyone wants one of those expensive virus programs. I wouldn't use norton at all. it takes control of your computer. if you get in your computer uninstall norton and here is a free antivirus. It has a paid version but hey i don't have any problems with the free.

copy and paste it in your address bar then click download at c.net

Cannot manage to load norton security programme

hi there,

although, not specified what you did but i presume 2 actions:

1. Running the program and cannot be completely loaded, it means that there's a program that block your Norton Internet Security 2008 to run, and that might be a Virus or Trojan. or someone is hacking in your pc (might be). and this will happen, if your Norton Internet Security 2008 is not updated and/or you install an internet plug ins in some of your visited website and through that plug ins the website administrator has a link in your pc to access, but not all.

solution: try to uninstall and fresh install your Norton Internet Security 2008 but before you do that make sure that you have a supported docs like cd key and response code from Norton if any, to successfully install your anti virus. and before you install, unplug your connection from internet (install offline, after installation, update it and scan your pc).

2. you install your Norton Internet Security 2008 and cannot be completely loaded, it means that Norton program is corrupted. please have a fresh copy in cd if any and install it.

I need to wipe out my computer hard drive

If you know the model of the hard drive in the computer , you can go to the manufacturere's site and download a tool to perform that task. If you want to do a security format, there are programs that do that also, but at a cost.

I bought the antivirusxp 2008 and it keeps asking me to buy it. I haven't being able to do nothing with my computer.

AntivirusXP 2008 sometimes called Antivirus XP 2008, is a rogue anti-spyware program designed by hackers to take your money in return for a useless program. We have noticed that the creators of rogue anti-spyware programs such as AntivirusXP 2008 and Antivirus 2008 are using the year ?2008″ in the name of their deceiving programs. As if we did not know what year this is. We have found that many of the programs that end with ?2008″ in the name just like AntivirusXP 2008, may be related to one another in that they perform the same malicious actions.
AntivirusXP 2008 is very dangerous to have installed on your computer. AntivirusXP 2008 may install other files or programs that pose a serious threat to the security of your system. AntivirusXP 2008 may ultimately allow your personal information to be sent to a remote user who has access to your system through a security hole. AntivirusXP 2008 may come from a Trojan such as Zlob or even the Antivirusxp2008.com website which promotes the AntivirusXP 2008 rogue anti-spyware program.
