Motorola V8 Luxury Edition phone

Can not recive animated preloaded texts from any phones including Motorola V3. Their suggestion was I download a generic textplate from another phone or carrier to see if this helps. Duh I am a 60 year old femalae and would not have a clue how to go about this.
