My iriver e100 keeps freezing.
My iriver e100 keeps freezing. I tried making a playlist and as soon as I select a song to listen to out of the playlist, the screen freezes and no music plays...

- Hi,I have had the same problem with mine. All of my music is ripped from my CD's though- no limewire here.
Its very annoying!
My previous i river (old skool one) never did anything like this.

- My iRiver E100 was fine until the last firmware update - 1.10 - then it started freezing up at random. I tried removing the 4GB SD memory card i'd added; no difference. the only way to get it back is the hard reset switch. incidentally, all the music i have stored on it was ripped from my CD collection, therefore, no limewire viruses. - SheramilJul 13, 2008

Hey guys,
I had a similiar problem. Apparently when you download music from limewire etc. and upload the music to your iriver, you can upload viruses also. Limewire is very dodgy for this. I'd say delete those songs that are freezing from your player and computer, they may be infected and causing the freeze.

I have the same problem. My iriver is only a week old and everytime i choose a different song it freezes. I'm really annoyed.
