I think my Sound card does not work, how can i check it? i think my sound card does not work ,how can i check it and how i can download it free?

From device manager you can find all the components which are installed properly on your system.

  1. Goto Start -> Control Panel double click on System then click on Hardware after that click on device manager.
  2. If there is any component with yellow marked icon then you have missing driver.
  3. To download driver Click here, HP provides you all driver free for you. On this page type your service tag number (You can fin on the bottom of your lap-top, in the back) in search box and press enter. It will open all the links for your driver.

No sound driver?


I think you must have the "Universal Audio Architexture" first, u can download it from microsoft site...here

Download and then run the driver installer.

Here is download page, click on the + sign near to audio and download the reccomended driver.
