Generic problem for all Air Conditioners

my vulacan powerhouse heating is showing code 10...error, hot surface ignitor failure but my heating is working but only upstairs and not downstairs, can anyone give me any ideas?

Anyone who has a copy of the Vulcan Powerhouse heater service manual would be helpful.

I have a somewhat similar problem - code 7: ignition failure. The burners would not fire up. Would replacing the ignitor part number 2501139 fix this?
