I have beem merrily embroidering away on my Bernina Deco 340 but following a thread change the bobin now bunches up after only a few stitches. This is a design I have sticthed out previously on material and with threads I have combined on many occassions.
I have tried changing the bobin, changing the thread, changing the needle, adjusting the tension, adding more stabilising materials, turning the machine off for a few hours and have now run out of ideas! I have also taken the bobin out and dusted in there but no joy!
Can anyone help please?
Many thanks
Wendy

Thanks, doesn't sound silly at all - in fact I am probably missing something silly and just need someone to point out the obvious! However, I did have the presser foot up and have checked the thread is going through easily. I have unthreaded and rethreaded many times, even changed the colour thread (just in case the machine somehow knows!!!)

Hello Wendy,
This may sound silly but did you make sure you had the presser foot up when you threaded the machine and did you make sure you adjsuted the top tension when you changed the thread?
