Question about Canon PIXMA MP780 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have a Canon PIXMA MP780 All-In-One InkJet Printer. I have just changed computures and I have lost the installtion disk for the printer. Do you know what I can do so that I can use the printer?
Go to this link. Wait a few seconds for all the files to load. Select your OS in the box, then wait a few more seconds, and you will see the drivers displayed.
You will need to download and install both the driver and the MP Navigator (under the Software heading). Click on the link and follow the instructions to install.

After re-installing my system software, I used the solution "old marine" proposed. I still couldn't print, because my computer wasn't recognizing the printer. But I did find that I could scan. I then downloaded Canon My Printer (from the same link "old marine" provided). Turns out that my printer was connected to a different USB port, and "Diagnose and Repair" function of "Canon My Printer" detected this problem and fixed it. So, "old marine" provides a good solution, but also consider other software that can help, and watch your connections!
