Check in your settings if its on modem or mass media storage mode.
setings > telephone settings > pc connection > ( modem;mass media storage; printer) >> choose mass media storage

just plug in the data cable from your phone to usb port on your laptop, then open setting from your phone and find pc connectivity then set as mass storage, it will detect your memory card of your phone to your pc, drag the music you want to my music folder in your memory card.
First remove these file off your cell phone's 2Gb memory card then - You need to rename the files on your computer that have long file names to something much less than 25 characters in length and then copy them to your cell phone's memory card.
The best way to transfer song is to connect your mobile with the PC and use the connection type as mass storage and then you can simply transfer data as you do in a usb flash drive.
All you need to do is go to settings -> phone settings -> PC connections -> select mass storage and save......... Now when you connect the phone to your pc via the data cable, all the necessary installations of usb drivers and such things will complete automatically. You dont need to install any softwares manually. All the installation will occur instantly after you connect (setting of mass storage is very important).
