When Washing on cold, cold water doesn't seem to...

the detergent down, like when I put it on warm.

I checked the water inlet strainers both at the ater tap and the strainers on the back of the washing machine. They were pretty much clear.

I discovered that the person that originally installed the washing machine had the hot and cold mixed up.

When I put the dial on warm I here the water flushing the detergent down in the top front where I put my detergent in.
