Question about Nokia 3250 Cellular Phone
I've a Nokia 3250. Yesterday, after I turned it off I couldn't turn it back on. The battery is still halfway charged. I tried plugging it in the charger, but the charging icon didn't show up. ('coz normally when I plug it in, there'll be a charging icon on the right showing the charging process). Does that mean my phone is dead?
After so, I tried to plug the nokia usb into my cell phone, but my pc couldn't detect my cell phone. Then I tried pressing the start button for 1 second while it's connected via the usb, my pc suddenly detected my phone for couple seconds (hardware nokia usb detected), but disconnected again. So I tried pressing the start button again, and same thing happened.
I really want to retrieve the information from my cell phone (contacts, sms msgs). Is there any way I can do so?
Please please help me ><
Thank you everyone in advance!
Try to format your phone, use the following steps.
Switch off the phone. Press phone on again. Now hold down the following three buttons: Green (call answer) button, (* )button, and '3' button. Format is complete when you see 'Choose Country' option. All your data in phone memory will belost, but your data in the memory card will still be there. if this does not work, take your phone to the service center and have it flashed

SOUNDS LIKE YOUR DIGITIZER (TOUCH SCREEN) IS EITHER GOING BAD OR HAS A BAD CONNECTION. TRY (VERY CAREFULY) PRYING UP ONLY SLIGHTLY ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE SCREEN. YOULL HAVE TO USE A RAZOR BLADE OR A FINGERNAIL DEPENDING ON HOW TIGHT THE SCREEN IS, WHILE IT IS LIFTED (SLIGHTLY) TRY USING THE SCREEN.
****** VERY IMPORTANT**** LIFT ONLY SLIGHTLY, IF U CRACK YOUR TOUGH SCREEN IT WILL BE COMPLETELY UNUSABLE AND UNSALVAGABLE*******************
OK, IF THIS WORKS, JUST SLIDE A FOLDED PIECE OF PAPER INTO THE EDGE OF THE LIFTED SCREEN TO KEEP IT THERE SO YOU DONT HAVE TO DO THIS EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO USE YOUR PHONE.
HOPE THIS HELPS.
