Xbox Disk Error

Hi whenever I'm in the middle of a game on my Xbox it stops and says "This disk is un readable" and I can't play it. Does anybody have any advice?

Thanks in advance!

It's a 12 month warranty for Xbox problems and a 3 year warranty for the Red Ring Of Death

same for me, it sounds as if the disk drive stops and can no longer read the disc. I can then try to start the xbox again but it will not load. then on the 7th or 8th go it will work fine no problems. I will be calling x-box at the weekend to discuss!!!

I can get into the dashboard but it says that the disk is un readable

Is it every disk that is unreadable? If it is only 1 disk then that disk is damaged, you me be able to repair it by using the cd repair machines they sell at stables and best buy. If it cant be repaired you need to buy a new copy of the disk.
Hope this helps, Joe

Ok, I have recently been having this problem with my Xbox 360. About a month ago, I kept getting Disc is Unreadable error, but it was only for 5 games that I mainly play. I sent this Xbox in and I was sent...

Possibly you tilted or moved the Xbox when a game was running, this will scratch the game beyond repair, or maybe you played the games so long that they were laserburnt, meaning they were burnt from the laser inside of the Xbox that reads it, making they sometimes unplayable, you could try taking the games back to the store and returning them for a new one.

My xbox dosent read my disks any more

Yeah i had the same prblem too. So it's either the game disk's have scratches in the middle of the game disk or the xbox is messed up. I would take it in somewhere to get it fixed if something is wrong with your Xbox.

Disc unreadable

Know what? I've had your same problem... Bought BF:BC, and it'll tell me that it's an un-readable disk, or says "Play DVD"...
I've also already returned the game once, for another copy and there's no positive changes.
The rest on my games work, just not BF:BC.

My guitar hero3 will not read in the system it worked fine earlier today i turned it on and now it wont work at all it saids disk not readable it is 3 weeks old

Check the disk. if it has a bis ring arond the disk it is screwed. this is caused by moving the xbox before the disk has stopped spinning.
