may be the cds might hav some scarch in it or its not readable by your xbox...u check what type it cant able to play whether its cd or dvd or blueray disk..check with manual what type and all it can play..so that u can com to solution ..if it not playing some thing in all type then u check with this site to solve the problem..
Is it every disk that is unreadable?
If it is only 1 disk then that disk is damaged, you me be able to repair it by using the cd repair machines they sell at stables and best buy. If it cant be repaired you need to buy a new copy of the disk.
Hope this helps,
Possibly you tilted or moved the Xbox when a game was running, this will scratch the game beyond repair, or maybe you played the games so long that they were laserburnt, meaning they were burnt from the laser inside of the Xbox that reads it, making they sometimes unplayable, you could try taking the games back to the store and returning them for a new one.
Yeah i had the same prblem too. So it's either the game disk's have scratches in the middle of the game disk or the xbox is messed up. I would take it in somewhere to get it fixed if something is wrong with your Xbox.
Know what? I've had your same problem...
Bought BF:BC, and it'll tell me that it's an un-readable disk, or says "Play DVD"...
I've also already returned the game once, for another copy and there's no positive changes.
The rest on my games work, just not BF:BC.
