Voyager 510 not working

I fully charged my voyager earpiece but it will not turn on....any suggestions?

    I have fully charged the product and it simply will not turn on or sync. The only time it shows life is when attached to charger but still will not sync with balcckberry curve.

    I think I have the same problem. I have left mine plugged in for a while and the red LED blinks like it is charging, but the unit will not turn on.

    same issue....fully charged... doesn't switch on or connect. any ideas as to what is happening or how to fix this issue?

    Same here...funny that I had 2 of the same headsets do that to me on the same day.

The power on/off button is TINY and I missed it completely. It is immediately above the volume up/down button.

Press and hold it for a few seconds and see if you get a blue light on the mic bar. Same to turn off (red light).

To make unit recognizable to phones, etc press the teeny power button and the vol UP button at the same time. You should get rapidly blinking blue and red lights, which mean you can sync up.

How do i put my 510 earpiece in the pairing mode


Press and hold the switch for about 30sec ...after that it will be in pairing mode ...and enter 0000 as passkey

Turning the plantronics 510 headset off


Holding down the small black button at the top of the earpiece will power down the headset. Plantronics offers great support too so you can contact them at plantronics.com or check out the Plantronics 510 manual for info.

Ear piece does not work. Station top light does not come on


The 500A base station is definitely compatible with the 510 earpiece. If the earpiece is turned off or unpaired the base station's red power light will be flashing. If the earpiece is already off, try turning it on by holding down the little black button on top. The base station will automatically try to find the earpiece and the blue light on top of the base will come on. If the earpiece is already on (slow flashing blue light on the mic boom) turn it off and back on again and wait for the base to find it.

Make sure the headpiece is charged. Turn the headpiece off by pressing the little black button on top of the earpiece and holding for about 5 seconds. Turn the earpiece back on again the same way. You should have a slow flashing blue light on the mic boom. The base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.
If this doesn't work you may need to manually pair the earpiece to the base by pressing and holding the Listen Volume Adjust + Button and headset Call Control Button on the earpiece until the light on the mic boom flashes red and blue repeatedly. As above, the base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.

Earpiece slipped off the plantronics bluetooth,and i want to know if there is anything to help put it together again.


my plantronics 510 voyager did the same thing. try putting the earpiece back on to the main bluetooth and wrapping a small rubber band BETWEEN THE TWO. the object is to put some opposing pressure on the earpiece to force it to stay on. it'll work at least till you get anoter earpiece

With these units, if the earpiece battery is allowed to run down, it will switch off. When the earpiece turns off the base station starts to search for it, which is indicated by the flashing red power light. Also the blue light on the top of the base will turn off. The first step, which you have already done, is to charge the earpiece. Next, hold down the little black button that is on top of the earpiece for about 5 seconds. You should get a slow flashing blue light on the mic boom. Wait for about 10-20 seconds and the base should automatically find the earpiece. The red power light on the base will be steady and the blue light on top of the base will come on.

Do not use the power button to sync.
To sync device, Press + button (volume) and Silver button (on boom) at simultaneously. LED Light will blink RED & BLUE.  Device ID should appear on your screen.
