How to install wireless keyboard and mouse drivers item no:kb5200w

  • 1 Check the information that came with your hardware for compatibility issues with the hardware specifications of the computer you are using or with Windows Vista. You can also check for compatibility issues online.
  • 2 Attach the "receiver" on the keyboard or mouse port at the back of your CPU. The receiver should come with the wireless keyboard or mouse upon purchase. Usually, it is roughly three inches wide and three inches long. The computer will alert you to install drivers once it has detected the newly attached hardware. Insert the installation CD that came with the receiver or follow the installation wizard that pops up to install the device. If you do not have the installation CD on hand, Open a web browser and navigate to the manufacturer's website for the latest driver. Download it from there and install it to your computer.

I just recently purchased the wireless keyboard and mouse. Thought I was following the instructions for installing them. The computer says they are installed properly, yet the keyboard won't work. Can't...

usually these have a tiny "Connect" Button on the bottom of the keyboard, mouse, and a button on the receiver. Have you followed the sync procedure with this ?

Is there another wireless device nearby that may be interfering ?

Is it one receiver for both devices ?

    Does the mouse work ?

Have you tried a 2nd set of batteries on your keyboard ??

    Hope this helps.

I have a wireless keyboard and mouse. I do not have the CD

If you have Windows XP or later you can just plug the wireless receiver and let XP find it and install automatically. You may have to reboot to get it installed completely. Alternatively, if you have internet access you can go to the home site for the keyboard and mouse and download the installation.

Did you install the CD software program for the Keyboard?
The Keyboard should have been plugged in before you started your computer. Then you should have installed the CD program.

Also after installation if it doesn't work try the following:
Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

I've used the 62150 black combo on XP Pro, not the 62150N Deluxe silver combo, for years without a problem after setting them up. Had 2 PS2 ports so had to use an adapter for the keyboard connector. To sync, press the ID button on the receiver. LED will blink fast for a few seconds, then slower Press the ID button on the mouse and keyboard while receiver is still blinking (need a pen or something for the mouse button). If the receiver LED blinks whenever you move the mouse or hit the keyboard, it is receiving the signal. If the OS does not recognize input, it could be the connectors (I had separate PS2 for mouse and keyboard each).
Their website does not provide driver downloads or much user support - stop posting the link for everything SLSL2000.....

GE Wireless keyboard repeats keys always

A possible cause of this could be low batteries in the keyboard. Also, try repositioning the wireless receiver so there are no obstacles between the keyboard and the receiver.
